WHAT IS THE STRONG DELUSION

2 Thessalonians 2:1  ¶Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2  That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3  ¶Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. [We can see in the verses leading up to this point, that the “strong delusion” is related to the return of Christ (“by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ”), which also is the time of the so-called “rapture” (“by our gathering together unto him”). A delusion is something that is not the truth and is a lie or deception, so this would be a coming of a false Christ that the whole world will believe in, a counterfeit return of a counterfeit Christ and, maybe, a counterfeit rapture. Jesus wants us to know the truth of this coming false Christ and how to remain in the truth and to not be deceived, so here He gives us some information that we may know the truth.] 5  Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6  And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. [“what withholdeth” = Michael the Archangel who stands for Israel, of which we are grafted in.] 7  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. [“he who now letteth” = Michael the Archangel] 8  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: [The true coming is after the counterfeit coming of Christ. The counterfeit Christ is the antichrist.] 9  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10  And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. [The reason the delusion came upon the whole world is because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.] Remember the elect of God are not of this world, but are of God and it is not possible that they be deceived, even though it may be possible to be deceived for a while.] 11  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: [What cause was it again: because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.] 12  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. [Might I add here that having pleasure in unrighteousness can be as simple as watching TV and enjoying or taking any type of pleasure in those things you may see, which are not of God.] 13  ¶But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: 14  Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15  Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. 16  ¶Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, 17  Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

By this passage we can see that the “strong delusion” is sent upon this evil world and most all of the so-called Christians who will belie the lie. This lie being that the antichrist is Christ and placing this event at the time of the probable counterfeit “rapture”, which also coincides with Michael the Archangel standing up at the time of the begenning of the “great tribulation”.

Daniel 12:1  ¶And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

It is important to keep in mind here that the words “at that time” can mean before, during, or after, and in order to determine the exact timing, other scriptures have to be used so that we have the harmony of scriptures and do not stand on only one witness (one scripture).

The example of when Michael should stand up:

2 Thessalonians 2:7  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8  And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

The abomination of desolation is the wicked one being revealed.

Matthew 24:15  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Matthew 24:21  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Now to prove that “at that time” from: “and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book” (Daniel12:1) is in fact “at that time”, we can show these verses:

Matthew 24:29  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Matthew 24:31  And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Now the “gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other” is the “rapture” of the saints that ties into when “thy people shall be delivered, everyone that shall be found written in the book” which is in fact “at that time” and being “Immediately after the tribulation of those days”.

“at that time”:

“that time” is referring directly to the time period of “great tribulation” and “at” was in question as to where the event is connected in the timeline of “great tribulation”.

These are the methods of understanding the Bible as sets forth in:

Isaiah 28:9  ¶Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts. 10  For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

The harmony of the scriptures is the truth:

2 Corinthians 13:1  ¶This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

Matthew 18:16  But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

Now, after showing what the “strong delusion” is, according to the word of God, and after showing how to know the truth by standing in the harmony of the scriptures as in more than one witness, we will look at what is going on in our world and what we see.

What is the best way to be able to deceive someone? Could it be, not to allow them to know the truth so that they are made to rely on what you or what someone else says?

This very thing has been going on since, at least, Genesis 3 when Satan started stealing and perverting the very words of God, “Yea, hath God said”.

He has been working overtime in our day and age since he knows his time is short, by making counterfeit Bibles, by introducing evolution, by the pretribulational rapture, and by fallen angels misrepresenting themselves as many different alien peoples from many different planets and solar systems, just to mention a few.

As we know, there are many parts, which will make up the “strong delusion”.

As part of the “strong delusion” and in leading up to it, the Bible will be able to be utterly proven false and a lie. This will probably be done in part by a great many things some of which are, artifacts, writings, evolution, and that we were seeded by these great and benevolent (yeah, right) aliens (“the watchers”, “sons of God” which are beings created directly out of the hand of God and are fallen angels) from other planets who only have our best interests at heart (yeah, right again).

I do believe that in the alien deception and influence; there will come about a one-world religion through all this ecumenicalism between faiths and religions. Yes it is absolutely a false religion and I believe connected in some way and merged into Roman Catholicism, the great whore. In this it is important to note that they (the Roman Catholic Church) have been visited and have received a great many communications directly from fallen angels and other devils, as they have openly shown the whole world in many ways. They have always taken these to be the working of God, even over the word of God, while the true saints know it is only the god of this evil world.

This might give a little insight into just what the strong delusion is.

I believe these are some of the MAJOR FACTORS involved:

1. The alien thing

2. Being seeded

3. Catholicism

4. Evolution

5. And there is no word of God (the Bible), in that our real gods are in fact and in truth the alien gods who created us or seeded us.

6. These aliens created our gods like Jesus, since we have a need for a god, but that all gods are the same god and they are the aliens.

7. The antichrist takes the place of Christ.

Keep in mind that there are a lot of little pieces to the big picture/puzzle. The Bible is the truth by which we see through all their lies and deceptions, for the whole world will believe a lie.

1 John 2:20  ¶But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 21  I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth. 22  Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 23  Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. 24  Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. 25  And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

26  These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you. 27  But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

In fact, it would appear that no man could teach anyone except the Holy Spirit of God open them unto the truth that you or I speak in the name of Jesus Christ.
